As part of a restoration project it carried out at the historic Heftziba Farm, the Israel Electric Company decided to establish a unique demonstration center. It provides visitors with a behind-the-scenes look at the generation, distribution and use of electricity, taking them on a fascinating journey through the invisible energy that powers modern life.

Built within two of the farm’s structures, the demonstration center’s interior was designed to complement its exterior, a protected historical landmark. We created a graphic language that emphasizes freshness, ingenuity and clarity, based upon illustrations brought to life with various technologies.

Visitors are exposed to the importance of conserving electricity and intelligent energy consumption. Passing through the Smart Electric House, they encounter six interactive stations that present ways of saving electricity and innovative tools for managing domestic electricity consumption. In the Grid House, they’re acquainted with the upcoming revolution in the electricity grid, brought to life through animation and 360-degree projection. The entire experience is controlled by a guide, who can adapt it to suit various audiences.
